Description

In crop production, beneficial micro-organisms are applied using inert materials such as talc, lignite, etc as 
carriers. Often such technology is cumbersome and the population of micro-organisms reduces during storage leading 
toreduced shelf life. Encapsulation technology is a novel technology, one of its kind that ensures smart delivery 
of agriculturally important micro-organisms (N fixers / P solubizers / mobilisers / Plant Growth Promoting 
Rhizobacteri a (PGPR) / biocontrol agents) through encapsulation in a hard gelatin capsule. It is an easy and 
reliable technology, developed and patent filed (Patent application No. 3594/CHE/2013 dated 13.04.2013) by 
ICAR – Indian Institute of Spices Research, Kozhikode, Kerala.

Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) are free living bacteria that aggressively colonize and multiply on the
roots. The direct effects are through biofertilization, stimulation of root growth and rhizo remediation, while 
indirect effects are reduction in disease incidence. This improves the use efficiency of fertilizers and manures 
and thus reduces the application rates. There are three encapsulated strains of PGPR in POWERCAP that promotes 
growth and increases the resistance towards diseases in black pepper.

Method of application

POWERCAP capsule contains 109 propagules. Suspend one POWERCAP capsule in one litre boiled and cooled to to luke 
warm water and keep it over night with occasional stirring.Next, dilute this one litre solution in 100 litres of 
clean water and drench the pepper vines @ 1 litre – 3 litre depending on the size of the vine. For ginger, cardamom
 and other crops, drench depending on the root spread. For nurseries, drench 100 ml of the solution per bag, or 
mix the solution in digested compost or farmyard manure at the time of bag filling. The same one litre solution can 
be dissolved in about 8 – 10 litres of clean water and mixed with digested compost on farmyard manure or neem cake 
and applied to 30 – 50 vines depending on the size. For ginger, cardamom and other crops, apply based on the root 
spread. Both POWERCAP and TRICHOCAP can be used together in combination.

प्रयोग की विधि

प्रत्येक पी जी पी आर  कैप्सूल में 10⁹ प्रोपेगुल्स होते हैं। एक पी जी पी आर  कैप्सूल को एक लीटर उबले हुए और ठंडा में घोलें गर्म पानी। लगभग दस मिनट में, कैप्सूल पूरी तरह से भंग हो जाएगा। अब, इस एक लीटर के घोल को पतला करें 100 लीटर साफ पानी में और बेल के आकार के आधार पर काली मिर्च की बेलों को 1 लीटर – 3 लीटर की दर से भिगोएं। के लिए अदरक, इलायची और अन्य फसलें जड़ के फैलाव के आधार पर सूख जाती हैं। नर्सरी के लिए, घोल के 100 मिलीलीटर को डुबोएं बैग भरने के समय प्रति बैग या घोल को पची हुई खाद या फार्मयार्ड खाद में मिलाएं।

वही एक लीटर घोल को लगभग 8 – 10 लीटर साफ पानी में घोला जा सकता है और फार्मयार्ड या नीम पर पचने वाली खाद के साथ मिलाया जा सकता है केक और आकार के आधार पर 30 – 50 बेलों पर लागू होता है। अदरक, इलायची और अन्य फसलों के लिए, इसके आधार पर लागू करें जड़ फैल गई। ट्राइकोकैप और पावरकैप दोनों को संयोजन में एक साथ इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है।

ഉപയോഗ രീതി

ഓരോ പി ജി പി ആർ കാപ്സ്യൂളിലും 10⁹ പ്രോപ്പഗുളുകൾ അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഒരു പി ജി പി ആർ കാപ്സ്യൂൾ ഒരു ലിറ്റർ തിളപ്പിച്ച് ആറിയ  ഇളംചൂടുള്ള വെള്ളത്തിൽ അലിയാൻ അനുവദിക്കുക . ഏകദേശം പത്ത് മിനിറ്റിനുള്ളിൽ, കാപ്സ്യൂൾ പൂർണ്ണമായും ലയിക്കും. ഈ ഒരു ലിറ്റർ ലായനി 100 ലിറ്റർ ശുദ്ധജലത്തിൽ നേർപ്പിക്കുക.  കുരുമുളക് വള്ളിയുടെ വലുപ്പമനുസരിച്ച് 1 ലിറ്റർ – 3 ലിറ്റർ ലായനി ഒഴിക്കാം.  ഇഞ്ചി, ഏലം, മറ്റ് വിളകൾ എന്നിവക്ക് വേരുകളുടെ വ്യാപനത്തെ ആശ്രയിച്ച് നനയ്ക്കാം.

നഴ്സറികളിൽ  100 മില്ലി ലായനി ഓരോ ബാഗിലും ഒഴിക്കാം. ബാഗ് നിറയ്ക്കുന്ന സമയത്ത് ദഹിച്ച കമ്പോസ്റ്റ് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ  ഫാം യാർഡ് വളത്തിൽ ലായനി കലർത്തുക. അതേ ഒരു ലിറ്റർ ലായനി ഏകദേശം 8-10 ലിറ്റർ ശുദ്ധജലത്തിൽ ലയിപ്പിച്ച് ദഹിച്ച കമ്പോസ്റ്റുമായി കൃഷിയിടത്തിലോ വേപ്പിലോ കലർത്താം വലുപ്പമനുസരിച്ച് 30-50 വള്ളികളിൽ കേക്ക് ഉപയോഗിക്കാം. ഇഞ്ചി, ഏലം, മറ്റ് വിളകൾ എന്നിവയ്ക്ക് വേരുകളുടെ വ്യാപനം അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി പ്രയോഗിക്കുക . ട്രൈക്കോകാപ്പും പവർകാപ്പും സംയോജിപ്പിച്ച്ഉപയോഗിക്കാം.
