Empowering Entrepreneurs in Agri-Business!

We’re thrilled to share the success of the Entrepreneurship Development Programme on Value Addition in Fruits and Vegetables, held on 29-30 October 2024 at ICAR-Indian Institute of Spices Research, Kozhikode! This program was organized under the Agribusiness Incubator (ABI) initiative, providing hands-on support to aspiring agri-entrepreneurs. With 21 enthusiastic participants, the program featured sessions by Dr. Elizebeth Joseph (Assistant Professor, KVK, Kannur, Kerala Agricultural University) on innovative value addition techniques, market strategies, and sustainable business practices to elevate local products. Thanks to Dr. Sajesh and Dr. Maneesha (Co-PIs of the scheme NAIF I& II) for coordinating this transformative journey, which concluded with Dr. Sheeja TE, Head of the Division of Crop Improvement & Biotechnology and ABI in charge, extending her best wishes to the participants as they embark on their entrepreneurial journeys.
